Neal Brown

Executive Director

Former Assistant Coach - Point Park University

Former Assistant Coach - Upper St. Clair HS

This is Neal's 14th year a Director for P3R. In 2007, he was one of the new directors that took over the club to help develop young, talented volleyball players in the Pittsburgh area. Since then he has helped grow P3R into one of the biggest and most comprehensive training programs in the area. In those first 8 years, Coach Brown was also the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Point Park University where he helped develop the Pioneers' into a nationally-ranked, championship caliber program and was an integral part in leading the team to their first-two conference championships and berths in the NAIA National Tournament with a 36-6 record in 2011 and again in 2014. In his 8 years at Point Park, the Pioneers had winning records in each of the 8 seasons for a combined record of 219-101 (.684%). After his time at Point Park, Coach Brown joined the staff at Upper St. Clair in 2015 and 2016 where he helped the Panthers to two Section Championships, a WPIAL 3rd Place, and one of the best seasons in school history with their furthest run into the PIAA playoffs. Before Point Park and P3R, Brown previously coached boys at both Mt. Lebanon and Upper St. Clair High Schools as well at coaching boys at the USAV juniors level. Prior to returning home to Pittsburgh, Coach Brown worked with the Penn State men's volleyball team helping them to EIVA championships as well as the NCAA semifinals. He brings a weath of knowledge and expertise at a higher level of play to P3R specializing in skill technique and game strategy.


Bridget Bielich

Director of Volleyball

16 Platinum Head Coach

Head Coach - Point Park University

A P3R alumna herself, Coach Bridget begins her fourth year as the Director of Volleyball for P3R leading the coaching and player development. She is in her 3rd season the Head Coach at Point Park University after 3 years as an assistant coach. In 2019, in just her 2nd year as head coach, she led her team to a River States Conference-East Division Championship. In her first two seasons as an assistant with the Pioneers, she helped Point Park to an NAIA National Tournament berth each season as well as the 2016 River States Conference regular season title. As a player, the Bethel Park graduate went on to a stellar career after P3R at California University of PA where she was a 4-year starter and led her team to multiple PSAC Championships and appearances in the NCAA D-II Elite 8. She is 2nd All-Time in career Hitting Percentage for the Vulcans with 980 kills and was a two-time All-PSAC West selection.


Ed Josefoski

Director of Club Development

15 Platinum Assistant Coach

Ed Josefoski is in his fifth year Coaching with P3R and his second year as Director of Club Development. Coach Ed began playing volleyball in 9th grade and as a three year starter for Penn Hills High School, he won 2 WPIAL Titles and 1 PIAA State Championship.  He was recruited to play at Penn State and his collegiate career was highlighted with one NCAA National Championship and one NCAA Runner-up trophy.  Ed was a two time All-America and after graduating from Penn State with a degree in Political Science, he trained with the US Men's National Team and played professionally in the Brazilian Superior League.  Ed lives in Venetia, PA with his wife Kim and children Will, Lyla, Ryann, and Brett.


Emily Taylor

18 Platinum Head Coach

Head Coach - Waynesburg University

Emily is in her third season as the 18's Platinum Head Coach for P3R. She was recently hired as the Head Coach at Waynesburg University and is excited to begin leading the Yellow Jackets. Emily spent the previous three seasons at fellow Presidents' Athletic Conference competitor Washington & Jefferson College as their Assistant Coach. During her time at W&J Taylor helped lead the Presidents to their first second-place regular-season finish since 2005. She coached numerous All-PAC athletes, including the 2018 PAC Player of the year and the 2019 NCAA DIII statistical champion in digs per set. Prior to beginning her coaching career, Emily attended Penn State Greater Allegheny where she was a member of the volleyball team while earning her Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications and a certificate in Sports Administration. 


Jenna Potts

17 Platinum Head Coach

Head Coach - Seton-LaSalle HS

Coach Jenna returns to P3R in her first year as a head coach. She was previously an Assistant Coach with P3R in 2015 while she was a player at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a 4-year starter at Pitt and set the Program Record for Blocks and Block Assists which led the Panthers to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 12 years & first second round appearance in 13 years. She was a member of the Collegiate National Team in 2016 and was named Honorable Mention AVCA Division I All-American. After Pitt, she played professional volleyball for 3 seasons in Czech Republic, Germany, and France where each team finished either 3rd or 2nd in the league. She is currently the head coach of the Seton LaSalle Girls Volleyball team wrapping up her second year with the program and first as head coach, leading the Rebels to the WPIAL playoffs in her first year.


Lexie Rains

17 Warhol Head Coach

A P3R alum, Coach Lexie begins her second year coaching with P3R.  Her volleyball career started in 7th grade and she went on to be a 4 year varsity player and a 3 year starter at Hopewell High School. During her senior year she was named team captain and helped her team win a WPIAL Championship and a State Playoff appearance as Libero.  She joined P3R in 9th grade where she played as Libero/Defensive Specialist and helped her team qualify for 2 National Tournaments. After a successful club career, Lexie was recruited to play Division 1 volleyball at Kent State University as a defensive specialist.  At Kent State Lexie was a very versatile player and saw action in all 3 of the backrow positions.  Lexie graduated from Kent State with a degree in Fashion Merchandising as well as Marketing and a certificate in Sales.


Mike O'Leary

16th Street Head Coach

Head Coach - Keystone Oaks HS

Coach Mike began playing at Keystone Oaks during my sophomore year of high school. Senior season we were undefeated section champions and made it to the WPIAL seminfinals losing only to the state champions. I was voted to first team all section and the WPIAL All Star game that year as a Libero. Continued playing in college for Westminster’s Club Volleyball team until 2013 as a Libero and setter. I began coaching as a part time volunteer for the Keystone Oaks Girls Varsity program in the summer of 2013. I then was the Assistant Varsity coach for the Keystone Oaks boys program in 2014 while continuing to volunteer for the girls program. Acted as the assistant for the girls varsity program in 2015 then was named head coach of Keystone Oaks Girls Varsity team in 2016. I have been there ever since and this is my first year with P3R. 


Brittney Bianco

16 Fort Pitt Head Coach

Coach Brittney begins her second year of coaching at P3R. She began playing volleyball in 7th grade but grew up in the sport because both her step-dad and grandfather coached at Freeport. Brittney was a 4 year varsity player and her freshman year Freeport won the WPIAL Championship.  During her senior year Brittney was named captain and helped lead her team to another WPIAL Championship in 2014. She played as a setter all through high school and club until her senior year she switched to a libero. Brittney played for the Spartan Volleyball club and her senior year they won the KRVA 18's Championship at the Harrisburg Farm Complex. Brittney had many opportunities to play at the collegiate level upon graduating but faced a hip injury her senior season of track that held her back from playing. After recovering Brittney played again at Butler County Community College for 2 years as their starting setter. Over her time at BC3, she was named All-American 2017 and holds the #2 place record for number of assists. Then she transferred to Point Park University as a setter & shared setting duties with a fellow teammate. Brittney also coached Freeport Area Junior High School's team for 2 years as assistant coach and Spartans 18's team for one year. She graduated with a degree in Forensic Science, Criminology, and Psychology. 


Kameron Smith

15 Platinum Head Coach

Former Head Coach - Elizabeth Forward High School

Kameron Smith has been coaching boys and girls volleyball around Pittsburgh for 10 years. He started off as an assistant coach at Plum High School for 4 years.  After that, he moved to the South Hills where he took over as the head coach for South Park Boys’ Volleyball. While at South Park, he was able to lead the boys to an undefeated section title in 2017.  In 2015, Kameron took over the team at Elizabeth Forward High School.  EF has made the playoffs the past 4 years. This includes 2 trips to the WPIAL quarterfinals, 1 trip to the WPIAL semifinals, and a trip to the PIAA state playoffs.


Jason Jonas

15 Liberty Head Coach

Jason Jonas is in his 5th year coaching with P3R volleyball club and previously with CTS. Jason has also coached at Elizabeth Forward High School (girls team) for the last 5 years as well as 3 years before that at South Park High School (boys team). Jason is currently the Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach at Seton-LaSalle High School, and will be entering his first year coaching at the collegiate level as an assistant coach of Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team. When he is not coaching volleyball, Jason is teaching 6th grade mathematics at Clairton City High School.


David Gealey

15 Birmingham Head Coach

Coach Dave begins his third year coaching with P3R.  Dave began playing volleyball in 9th grade at Baldwin High School which was the first year of their boy’s volleyball program.  He led the team to the WPIAL and PIAA State playoffs during his three years as a starter.  Dave was then asked to try out for the Penn State Men’s Volleyball Team and made the team as a walk-on in 1993.  He was part of the NCAA National Championship team in 1994 as a redshirt freshman and four years later (1997-98), was voted team captain.  Dave was a versatile player and started at three different positions during his career at Penn State: outside hitter, right side hitter and defensive specialist.  Dave currently resides in Bethel Park with his wife Tiffane and three children, Grace, Gabby and Grant.


Erin Graybill

14 Platinum Head Coach

Coach Erin begins her P3R coaching career after years of coaching clinics and youth leagues at Peters Township Rec Center. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Coach Erin coached club and played in Utah where after a stellar career and state championships at Skyline High School and at Utah Juniors club, she was recruited to Brigham Young University as a middle hitter before later transferring to Utah State where she was 2nd team All-WAC Conference and set the all-time single season blocking record at Utah State her senior season. She was also named AVCA All-West Region Honorable Mention in 2005.


Cassie Surdyk

14 Smithfield Head Coach

Coach Cassie is bringing her passion for the game to P3R and our players in her first year coaching. An avid player in local adult leagues, she returns to coaching after settling in the Pittsburgh area. A native of Chicago, Cassie was an assistant coach for two years for middle school teams before heading to and playing on the club team at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She began playing volleyball in 5th Grade and continued a 10-year career including 6 years of club ball for multiple juniors clubs in the Chicago area.


Courtney Cherry

14 Clemente Head Coach

Coach Courtney started playing volleyball in 7th grade and continued her career at Peters Township High School. During her time as a PT Indian, she was selected Team Captain, competed in the WPIAL Playoffs, named to an All-Section team, and received numerous 'Terrific 21' recognitions. In addition to her high school career, Courtney played 4 years of club volleyball. As a lefty, her primary position was right side, but she also has experience as a setter, outside hitter, and defensive specialist. Courtney recently graduated from Penn State with a degree in Actuarial Science and is excited to get back into the sport through coaching.


Haley Orler

13 Platinum Head Coach

Former Assistant Coach - Carlynton High School

Haley is a P3R alum and graduate of South Fayette High School.  She was the Lion's libero and captain her senior year, leading her team to a WPIAL section championship.  After graduating from Westminster College with a chemistry degree, Haley decided to get back into the sport through coaching.  She became the Head Coach of Junior Varsity volleyball at Carlynton High School for two years.  In her second year, her team finished with an almost perfect record of 12-1.  This is also Haley’s third year coaching at P3R. 


Brianna Hewitt

13 Bloomfield Head Coach

Brianna begins her coaching career here at P3R. A former Hopewell High School graduate, she began playing volleyball in the 7th grade and continued on to the varsity level where she helped lead her team to win a WPIAL Championship her senior year. After a successful high school career, she was a 4 year member of the Slippery Rock University Women's Club Travel Team. During her time on the team, she had the opportunity to play in numerous competitive tournaments at Penn State, Ohio State, and other Division I universities where she helped lead her team to several tournament victories. Brianna graduated from Slippery Rock with a bachelor's in Exercise Science and a master's in Public Health.


Kindler Norman

12 West End Head Coach

A P3R alum, Coach Kindler returns to P3R after wrapping up her career at the University of Scranton where she set the Royals offense to new heights and 3009 career assists (5th All-Time) in just 3 seasons before the pandemic cancelled her senior season. A captain, first team all conference selection, and Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, set the team her freshman year to defeat rival Juniata College and hand them their first conference loss since 1981. Before Scranton, Kindler was a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School where she set the team to 3 section championships and a WPIAL 3rd Place finish and the PIAA Quarterfinals. She was also a 2-time AVCA Phenom player.


Dr. Mike Kraft

P3R Performance Coach
